Please clarify this as I would like to make it.
Also, and I don’t know if you can help with this, but my mother (recently deceased) used to make eggplant cut up in thick slices with LOTS of onions and garlic and crushed tomatoes? and herbs and cheese, both feta and parmesan. We took this favorite dish for granted and now we do not have a recipe. By any chance, do the ingredients sound familiar where they would point to some typical greek version of eggplant that you may be aware of? I can try to fudge it, but if you have a tried and true recipe, I’ll try that first. Thank you!
